Wild Blood Joins 1% for the Planet
Jul 24, 2025
Wild Blood has officially joined 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses committed to giving back to the environment.
As a member, Wild Blood pledges to donate 1% of all annual sales—not just profits—to vetted environmental nonprofits focused on protecting land, air, water, and wildlife.
“We created Wild Blood for people who live close to the edge—climbers, runners, artists, people who thrive in nature,” said founder Taylor Ellison. “Joining 1% for the Planet is a way to make sure we’re not just inspired by the wild—we’re giving back to it.”
Founded in 2002 by Patagonia’s Yvon Chouinard and Blue Ribbon Flies’ Craig Mathews, 1% for the Planet has directed hundreds of millions of dollars toward grassroots environmental groups. The program allows consumers to identify brands that are taking meaningful climate action and holding themselves accountable.
Wild Blood’s lineup of still and sparkling coconut water is known for its clean ingredients and bold, hand-drawn dark fantasy artwork. The company’s decision to join the network aligns with its broader values of sustainability, independence, and creative expression.
Customers will soon find the 1% for the Planet logo on every can of Wild Blood.
